Dancing Queen

Jayci has turned into a little "Dancing Queen" here recently. Tonight was no exception the only thing different was is that she wanted to throw a "dance party." She wanted the whole sh'bang; food, decorations, and music. So for a decoration we made this banner out of construction paper, glue, and twine to hang it with. It was done in like 5 minutes but she loved having it put up. For snacks, I was at a loss. However, Jayci came up with setting some fruit snacks out on the table. She was so funny. To top it off we found a Nickelodeon music channel on the T.V. to listen to. Here is a video of her dancing....

All I have to say is it's a good thing we signed her up for dance lessons today.

On another note...Because she got so excited about this little impromptu "party." I thought about doing a something special next week. If you have kids and watch TV at all you probably know that next Sunday is Dora's 10th birthday. Well I thought about throwing a little party for that at our house. Jayci has become a HUGE Dora fan. Only thing is that the Dora Birthday show doesn't come on until 7:00 pm on Sunday. I think we could get a few friends over and it could be done cheaply. Would you do such a thing for your child? It would be something very small with a few of her friends and a small cake and snacks. I can't decide. That is why I'm asking your opinion!!!
