Princess Camp

This week a business near us held a Princess Camp for girls of different ages. Jayci loves princesses and I just thought it would give her something fun to do. They played dress up, did fashion shows, learned about manners, and becoming a well rounded princess. They talked about being honest, kind, and all that other good stuff.  This is why I signed her up for it. Not because she isn’t any of these things but I just think she needs to know that being a princess is not all about just being pretty and having a crown. I want her to have a good heart as she gets older so I was glad that this camp focused on those issues too.

At the end of camp they put on a play about honesty and had a Coronation Ceremony. It was cute. Our local theater is putting on Cinderella this weekend and next so the actual Cinderella was there today to present them with their “princess bracelets” and roses.

I think she had a really good time. 009

Oh my goodness, G would LOVE princess camp! What a wonderful idea!

You asked me over on my blog what kind of cloth diapers we are using with Baby C -- we use a combination of Flips and BumGenius, both of which are made by Cotton Babies. I LOVE them, because the inserts from the Flips works with the BG shell, and vice verse. Also, they're one-size, so I've been using them with C since he was about 3 weeks old and -- ideally -- will be able to til he reaches the max weight, which I think is around 35 pounds or so.
